It’s finally here. Here is a video my friend Paul J Encinas and I collaborated on to summarize the residency I completed at the start of the year at SF Recology. For those of you just tuning in, I had relocated my studio to the San Francisco Dump for 4 months and made a body of work entirely out of materials I could gather.

Hey all. The secrets out and the location of the new SF gallery has been revealed. 941Geary is both ambitious in size and vision — no doubt this place will change the face of the art scene in San Francisco. Come celebrate this Saturday for their opening group show. For more info on the gallery and artwork in the show…go here >>
I made a quick visit to drop off my work the other day and things were full speed ahead.

Giclée prints.
June 22nd, 2010 · Uncategorized
Just a reminder that I have 2 giclée prints available through Outer Edge Studios. The quality of these prints allow you to see every brush stroke, pencil scratch, and textured detail…all in vivid color on smooth archival paper. These aren’t those cheesy prints you see all over the internet claiming to be great. I am more than pleased with how these prints turned out, and when you see one up close, you will be too.

Dwell on Design: showhouse
June 18th, 2010 · Uncategorized
Thanks to EcoFabulous, I will have a piece featured in the Dwell showhouse at this year’s Dwell on Design event happening next weekend in LA. The showhouse has quickly become the center piece to the show allowing viewers to step into an interactive space that is completely designed with the environment in mind, but not compromising style. For more info on the project go here.

Haven / 48 x 36 inches — A piece I recently completed that will be featured in the showhouse.

This is what last year’s looked like and inside featured a piece by Sage Vaughn.

behind the scenes.
June 15th, 2010 · Uncategorized
My good friend Paul J Encinas and I are putting the finishing touches on a short film that sums of the work put in during my Artist-in-Residency I completed at the start of this year. This will accompany some press kits I am getting made that all together will be some of the best material yet to promote what I do. Can’t wait to get this all going and see what I can stir up.

I will keep you updated when the film is ready for all to see.
