In conjunction with my latest show, I will be releasing a new screen print. It is a hand pulled 4-color screen print with a final hand drawn layer making each one very unique.

These will be available at the show for cash and carry and if I can, I hope to save a few to make available for online purchase.

The finish line to both shows is right around the corner. It’s hard to believe 8 weeks blew by so fast, but looking at the amount of work, it’s even harder to believe I created everything from concept to conclusion in that same amount of time. It’s been quite the grind but the title says it all…Tomorrow is Never Promised.

The time is almost here for me to unveil an all new body of work for what will be my largest solo show to date. Filling two San Francisco galleries, the first installment will debut at Fabric8 on September 2 with the second installment at White Walls the following week on September 11.

All in all, I have created 24 original works — mostly paintings, but I am throwing in a few surprise 3-dimensional works as well as 2 site-specific installations. The opening nights will also be a chance to pick up a screen print series I am producing specifically for the show in a real low edition of 25.

Excited to start really laying down the paint on my next body of work. The long days in the studio I don’t mind much except for the fact it gets harder and harder to get out of my head when I’m done for the day. Just got back from a quick weekend trip to the NYC area to paint live for this years Electric Windows event that takes place north up the Hudson in a town called Beacon. A most memorable experience to say the least.

The home to a local family that moved up from New York City where my girlfriend and I stayed.

Building, painting, constructing, burning, drilling and wiring in the studio all week with my assistant Alex during his last days. Never been more productive than these last 3 weeks working with him. Thanks again Alex!

Now off to NYC for some business & pleasure…but more pleasure than business. Be back to paint after a few much needed days off.

By tomorrow I will be in NYC to see some quick sights before I head up north to the beautiful town of Beacon where I will be painting live for this year’s Electric Windows event.
