A few days ago, I finally had the chance to check out the Academy of Sciences. It did not let me down one bit. In fact, it was even more amazing than I had imagined. My girlfriend and I went randomly with some friends so we didn’t have our cameras (doh!), but we were able to take a few shots with our phones. Definitely planning a date to go back and spend a whole day there. Overall, there had some of the most remarkable species of plants and animals…even an Albino Alligator!

Carnivorous plants are creepy. This is a Tropical Pitcher Plant and it eats insects.
